School Safety Update
At the December 2nd School Committee meeting North Andover Fire Chief John Weir, Police Chief Charles Gray, and Town Manager Melissa Murphy Rodrigues were in attendance, along with the Central Office Leadership Team, to deliver a School Safety Update to the committee and the community.
Lt. EJ Foulds, who is in charge of School Safety, led the discussion, explaining the programs used by Public Safety groups, the procedures that are in place and the definitions of various situations. He emphasized the importance of officer training and why the practice drills held at each school are essential to the safety of students, faculty and staff.
