JL11 Fund Organization - We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization named after James Luti who died by suicide on November 29, 2017. He was an amazing man who's life was cut short at age 16 from his struggle with mental health. He was an avid hockey and lacrosse player, and exhibited kindness and friendship with whomever he met. In James’ memory, the Luti family created the organization to help create awareness around mental health and suicide. For more information about this scholarship, click here.

Singularity - Veritas AI - a free competition for all high school students. Winners receive up to $2,490 in scholarships to any Veritas AI programs. Prompts are contributed and judged by researchers from MIT, Yale, and Oxford. Deadline is April 26, 2026. For more information click here
The Robert L. Himber Memorial Scholarship - This award has been designated to assist graduating students who are studying foreign languages with the intention of entering the field of Education and/or International business. Edwin A. Buthmann Memorial Scholarship - This scholarship fund is an endowment of gifts given in memory of Edwin A. Buthmann, Scoutmaster of Troop 2 and Sunday School Teacher of the former United Presbyterian Church of Lawrence, MA. This scholarship is intended for students who will study to
pursue careers in professional scouting and/or a profession related to social or community services with an emphasis on counseling or educating youth. This award will defray the cost of textbooks and related educational materials. For more information, please click here.

Massachusetts Broadcasters Association - The Massachusetts Broadcasters Association is committed to furthering the broadcast industry by helping Massachusetts’ best and brightest students pursue a career in broadcasting.Students who are permanent residents of Massachusetts and plan to or are enrolled at an accredited institution of higher learning are encouraged to apply for the MBA’s Broadcaster Scholarship Program. The MBA awards scholarships annually in the amount of $2,500 to students pursuing a career in a broadcast-related field. Unico Merrimack Valley Scholarship:
Purpose: To grant scholarships to deserving Merrimack Valley, higher education-bound, Italian-American students.
Qualifications: Applicant must be graduating senior of a greater Merrimack Valley area high school; must have high moral character and ranked within the top 25% of their class; involved in extracurricular activities; must be of Italian descent;
Funds: $2,500
Number of Awards: 5
To Apply: Applicants must include the UNICO Merrimack Valley Application Form, High School Transcript, SAT or ACT scores (if available), and a letter or letters of recommendation, from a person(s) of the applicant’s choosing, but must
include a letter of recommendation from an academic source such as a teacher or counselor.

The Mark Bavis Leadership Foundation - The scholarship is available to any high school student in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. It is awarded on the basis of need, and is not academically based. The Foundation will give more serious consideration to those students who have made efforts to make a difference in their communities and/or have shown leadership qualities within their school or community. The Council of Administrators of Compensatory Education Scholarship - (CACE) will provide scholarships for three (3) graduating seniors, each in the amount of $2,000. The CACE scholarships will be granted to seniors who attend CACE member schools (only former Thomson and Atkinson students are eligible for this scholarship) and who have been accepted into a post-secondary undergraduate program. Order of Sons and Daughters of Italy in America - A maximum of twenty $1,000.00 scholarship will be awarded. The Stephen Phillips Memorial Scholarship Fund - Scholarships from the Phillips Fund are awarded every year to over 150 new applicants and over 300 returning scholars. Awards from the Phillips Scholarship range from $2,000 to as high as $17,000 in a few cases. Individual award amounts are based on each applicant’s unmet need. Reading Community Singers - Reading Community Singers supports the advancement of music education by providing a scholarship to a student pursuing a career in music. The one-time award is for $1,000. Henry David Thoreau Foundation - Each year the Foundation selects several Massachusetts high school seniors interested in environmental studies to receive up to $26,000 for tuition to the college of their choice. Massachusetts JCI Senate - The Massachusetts JCI Senate will award two (2) $1,000.00 scholarships to graduating students in Massachusetts. The Senate winners will be forwarded to the National JCI Senate and will be eligible for an additional $1500.00 scholarship. Burger King Scholarship - Founded over a decade ago, the Burger King McLamore Foundation has raised more than $35 million to support over 33,000 students. The co-founder of Burger King, James W. McLamore started this foundation with the intention to help employees and their families pursue higher education. Marine Corps Scholarship - Are you the child of a Marine? If so, then you’re probably eligible for an award from the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, which has been honoring Marines for 56 years by supporting their children. They’ve given out 40,000 scholarships totaling $120,000,000. While a GPA of 2.0 is the minimum most recipients have a 3.0 or higher. For more information click here
Naval ROTC Scholarship - The purpose of the Navy ROTC Program is to educate and train qualified young men and women for service as commissioned officers in the Navy's unrestricted line, the Navy Nurse Corps and the Marine Corps. Taco Bell Scholarship - The Live Mas Scholarship is for creators, dreamers, and innovators. Eligibility is not based on grades, essays, or your athletic abilities. Instead, it focuses on students who think outside the box to make this world and their community better. $1 million is divided between all selected new applicants, $2.5 million to all Live Mas scholarship renewals, and $750,000 to employees of Taco Bell restaurants. NCAA Athletic Scholarships - Athletic scholarships are given to thousands of students each year for just about every sport you can think of. Some are given by specific schools to entice skilled athletes to play for them, while others are offered by professional leagues to encourage the sport and its success. For example, the NCAA provides more than $2.9 million in scholarships each year to about 150,000 students for division I and II schools.
